Warning about fake, poor quality cooking oil branded 'Gold Max', 'Tamin Gold', 'ChiCa'

The Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police has just issued a Decision to prosecute the case of manufacturing counterfeit food, foodstuffs, and food additives that occurred in 2025 at GF Vietnam Food Limited Liability Company, located in Yen Phu village, Nguyen Van Linh commune (Hung Yen).

The investigation determined that GF Vietnam Food Limited Company had produced and traded fake, low-quality vegetable oil bearing the brands “Gold Max”; “Tamin Gold”; “ChiCa”. These cooking oil products did not ensure quality and food safety but were widely distributed to the market.

To ensure the health safety of consumers, the Investigation Police Department of Hung Yen Province Police issued a warning to the Food Safety and Hygiene Department, the Market Management Department of provinces and cities across the country and advised people: Do not buy or use cooking oil products with the brands "Gold Max", "Tamin Gold", "ChiCa". If you see these cooking oil products being sold on the market, immediately notify the authorities.

Hung Yen Provincial Police also recommend that consumers choose cooking oil from reputable brands with clear origins and legal labels.

Regarding agencies and organizations, Hung Yen Provincial Police requires distribution units, stores, and supermarkets to immediately stop selling the products “Gold Max”, “Tamin Gold”, and “ChiCa”. Market management and health agencies coordinate to inspect and trace the source of poor quality goods for handling.
