The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 11-12 (103-133km/h), gusting to level 15. The storm moved in the West Northwest direction at a speed of 35-40km/h.

This is a very fast moving storm (nearly twice the average speed), with strong storm intensity and wide range of influence, which can cause combined impacts of many types of natural disasters such as: strong winds, heavy rains, floods, flash floods, landslides and coastal flooding.

According to the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station, the weather in the next 24-72 hours on the mainland of Hue City due to the influence of storm No. 10's circulation, from September 27-29 there will be rain, scattered moderate rain, heavy rain, some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms.

During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Total rainfall for the entire period is generally 100-200mm, in some places over 300mm. From September 28-29, on the mainland coastal areas, winds will gradually increase to level 4-5, gusting to level 6-8; further inland, winds will increase to level 3-4, gusting to level 5, level 6.

From September 27-29, the sea area of ​​Hue city will have storms and rain. The wind will gradually increase to level 6-7, gusting to level 8-10, rough seas, waves 2.0-4.0m high; the area near the storm center in the East of Longitude 108.0 degrees East will have strong winds of level 10-13, gusting to level 15-16, rough seas, waves 5.0-7.0m high.

All vessels operating in the sea and offshore areas of Hue City are at high risk of being affected by storms, strong winds, large waves, and rising water, which can cause damage or sinking, including large cargo ships. Hue City Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams in mountainous areas; landslides on steep slopes, and land subsidence in the following communes: A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, A Luoi 3, A Luoi 4, Hung Loc, Phong Dien ward.
