Traffic police officers try to put out the fire

At 7:55 p.m. on October 2, 2025, the Trang Bang Traffic Police Station working group, including Captain Ngo Quoc Anh (team leader), Major Nguyen Van Do and Senior Lieutenant Trinh Tuan Linh (team member), was on patrol duty on traffic routes.

While patrolling on National Highway 22B, Cam Thang Hamlet, Thanh Duc Commune, Tay Ninh Province (near Cam Giang Market), the task force discovered a red car with license plate 74A-022.32 on fire on the side of the road.

Determining that the car was on fire and there were people trapped inside, the working group quickly opened the car door in time to safely get two people (1 male, 1 female) out of the car. After that, 3 traffic police officers ran into the house to pull water hoses, fire fighting equipment and help surrounding people put out the fire. After about 30 minutes of trying to put out the fire, the fire was completely extinguished.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong (born in 1997), residing in Thuan Hoa hamlet, Loc Ninh commune, Tay Ninh province, is the car owner and driver. He said that while he was on the way to take his relatives home, the car caught fire. The incident happened so quickly that he could not escape, luckily the traffic police officers were there to rescue him and put out the fire.

Thanks to their bravery, quick wit and responsibility, the working group promptly rescued people trapped in a burning car, protecting their lives and most of their property./.
