Every year, the 12th day of the 8th lunar month is an occasion for those working in the performing arts to commemorate their ancestors, show gratitude to their predecessors and audiences who have accompanied, preserved and developed the traditional revolutionary performing arts of Vietnam.

Through many stages, despite facing many difficulties and challenges due to the changing times and strong competition from many modern forms of entertainment, the province's reformed opera still exists and is ready to put on a new coat, integrating with the digital age.

He expressed: “In the current context, when the country is integrating and developing strongly, the performing arts are also facing new opportunities and challenges. I hope that the unit will continue to innovate its thinking, promote talent, improve the quality of art, bring the stage closer to the public, and at the same time preserve the traditional values of the nation”.

In a solemn and sacred atmosphere, provincial leaders and artists offered respectful incense sticks to the Theatre Ancestors, expressing gratitude to the ancestors who created a unique form of theatrical art, enriching the cultural identity of Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee to change the name of the Long An Cai Luong Art Troupe to the Vam Co Cai Luong Art Troupe. This is an important milestone, opening a new development path, for the Troupe to continue its mission of preserving, maintaining and promoting the unique values of traditional Southern art.

On behalf of the young generation of artists of the Vam Co Cai Luong Art Troupe, 2024 Golden Bell Vong Co artist Le Hoang Nghi expressed his deep gratitude for the close guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Board of Directors of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh, who have always created favorable conditions for the Troupe to have the opportunity to develop.

In the coming time, the young artists of the Group vow to continuously practice and improve the quality of artistic activities, contributing to the province's preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values, while meeting the increasing enjoyment needs of the public.
