Department of Agriculture and Environment donated 100 household waste bins to Trang Bang ward

On the afternoon of October 2, in Trang Bang ward, Tay Ninh province, the Department of Agriculture and Environment organized a program to donate household waste bins in response to the Campaign to Make the World Cleaner by 2025.

Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Tran Khac Phuc (third from left) presented a symbolic plaque of 100 household waste bins to the leaders of Trang Bang ward.

Attending were Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Tran Khac Phuc; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward.

The Clean Up the World campaign aims to contribute to spreading community activities for the environment, improving the effectiveness of environmental protection work; at the same time calling on individuals, groups and communities to join hands in carrying out many practical actions to reduce the burden on nature and the environment; adapt to climate change, towards the goal of developing a circular and sustainable economy .

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of Trang Bang Ward People's Committee Huynh Thi Thuy Trang said that environmental protection has always been identified as an important task in building a sustainable future. In the coming time, Trang Bang Ward will continue to promote activities to improve the living environment in the direction of "green, clean, beautiful"; spread the spirit of environmental protection; raise people's awareness in maintaining public hygiene.

On this occasion, the Department of Agriculture and Environment presented 100 household waste bins to carry out the work of collecting, classifying and managing waste in the ward./.
