In the emergency, relatives and neighbors quickly gave first aid, stopped the bleeding and took her to Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in a state of both pain and panic.

As soon as the emergency case was admitted, the doctors immediately examined, ordered paraclinical tests and decided to perform emergency surgery to treat the wound and reconnect the tendon.

Thanks to timely intervention, the surgery went smoothly, initially preserving the motor function of her right leg. Currently, Ms. P. is receiving post-operative care at the Lower Limb Surgery Department, closely monitored to prevent complications, with the hope of a speedy recovery.

Due to the impact of storms and rains, the Ministry of Health has just sent an urgent dispatch to the Department of Health of provinces and cities affected by storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi) to concentrate efforts on emergency rescue and timely treatment of victims.

Viet Duc Friendship Hospital said that in the context of many provinces experiencing storms and floods due to the impact of Typhoon Bualoi, the hospital has organized its staff to be ready to urgently receive and treat victims. The hospital is always ready to receive, rescue and provide emergency treatment to people in distress.
