The rather special wedding photos of groom Ngoc Thang and bride Anh Nguyet received many shares after being taken in front of the cannons celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

Social networks shared a wedding photo album of a couple posing for wedding photos in the Ben Bach Dang Park area (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) that suddenly attracted many people's attention and comments. Because the couple took photos with the artillery prepared to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The happy bride and groom held hands tightly to capture the memorable moment in a special location. Many people sent their congratulations to the couple and said that this special scene only "comes once in 50 years".

The main characters in the above photo series are groom Ngoc Thang (28 years old) and bride Anh Nguyet (same age as her husband), in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai .

Talking to Thanh Nien , Mr. Thang said that the photo shoot with the cannons was done randomly when the couple and the crew were taking photos in the center of District 1. "A few days ago, after taking wedding photos in the Ba Son bridge area, we accidentally saw the cannons being prepared for the important event so we stopped to take a photo with them. I did not expect the photo shoot to attract the attention of many people, they even left congratulatory comments even though they had not known each other before," Mr. Thang said.

According to Mr. Thang, the couple feels happy and proud to have a special wedding photo album, marking an important event of the country. The couple currently lives and works in Bien Hoa City, but Ho Chi Minh City is a place that holds many memorable memories from their youth, so they returned to take wedding photos. The couple plans to take photos at some historical locations of the city such as Ba Son Bridge, Metro station, Ho Chi Minh City Museum, etc.

The wedding of bride Anh Nguyet and groom Ngoc Thang will be held on May 16 in Binh Dinh (the bride's hometown) and on May 19 at the groom's house in Quang Tri .

Previously, Brigade 96 brought 15 cannons to install at Bach Dang Wharf Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) to deploy artillery positions to serve the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification. The force participating in the artillery ceremony team has 203 people, the guard force and the command force each have 15 people.

The 105mm cannons, weighing about 4 tons, are lined up in a long row, their barrels facing the Thu Thiem New Urban Area on the other side of the Saigon River. After installation, many residents and tourists came to this area to see the cannons and watch the soldiers practice.

It is expected that on the morning of April 30, 21 artillery rounds will be fired to start the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.
