Khanh Hoa strives to cover urban and rural planning by 2025

Khanh Hoa province aims to complete 100% coverage of urban and rural planning across the entire area by the end of 2025, creating an important foundation for synchronous socio-economic development, in line with the two-level local government model.

This is the direction of the leaders of Khanh Hoa province, requiring departments, branches and localities to urgently review, adjust and ensure completion progress in 2025. The implementation process must strictly comply with legal regulations, not interrupt socio -economic development programs and plans, and at the same time be associated with the task of ensuring national defense, security and sustainable development.

The city's urban space is gradually being completed according to planning orientation.

At the same time, the province continues to adjust the Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, striving to complete it in 2025. This is identified as a key task, both to resolve arising problems and to create synchronization in land use, resource exploitation and technical infrastructure development.

According to the Department of Finance, in the implementation process, there are still some difficulties and shortcomings due to overlaps and conflicts between the Provincial Planning and national planning, the planning of the North Central region and the Central Coast, which were approved after the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning was issued.

In addition, the issuance of many new resolutions by the Politburo and the Government, along with planning projects approved by the Prime Minister, have changed the development orientation and land use objectives, leading to some allocation targets no longer being suitable. In particular, after the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces, many development orientations of sectors and fields also need to be adjusted to suit the new territorial space.

The adjusted contents focus on reviewing key tasks and breakthroughs; redistributing development space between regions; ensuring consistency between technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, land use and environmental protection. Some development plans for key sectors such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries; industry; energy; transportation; resource exploitation and protection will also be updated and supplemented.
