Born in the countryside of Tu Nghia commune ( Quang Ngai province), the year-round sunshine and wind have trained Pham Tram Anh to be strong and hard-working. As a young face, outstanding in Youth Union - Association activities, Pham Tram Anh always tries her best to develop herself.
Determined to overcome challenges
Pham Tram Anh's journey to the field of civil engineering was simply from an interesting observational perspective. "The society around us is constantly developing. Everywhere there are high-rise buildings springing up close together. The more constructions appear, the more the demand for civil engineers will increase" - Tram Anh expressed.
The decision to “anticipate” the labor market demand in the construction sector posed many challenges and pressures for the young girl. Through each subject, the construction engineering student realized that in addition to knowledge from school such as beam and floor structures, steel layout... practical experience is very important.
“When connecting with senior engineers, one piece of advice I received was that construction work is always changing every day, so you have to set foot on each roof of a construction site to understand and develop yourself. Each project will have its own specific work. Contributing my efforts to these projects is my goal,” Tram Anh shared.
With a decisive and agile personality, right from her second year of study, Pham Tram Anh directly set foot on the roof of a 6-storey building under construction. From the self-talk that if she doesn't encounter reality now, who knows when she will be proficient in her job, Pham Tram Anh has urged her to make efforts in all jobs such as assisting construction workers, supervising construction works, collaborating on design drawings...
Recalling the moments of rest at the construction site, Pham Tram Anh realized that the path she is taking and the work needs of society have some things in common. That is the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, meticulousness, and especially perseverance.
The enthusiasm of youth
“Go to work early, dare to fall and get up to know what you need. High-rise buildings or projects of all sizes require discipline and work principles. Construction at heights is very different from on the ground. Every step must be taken with absolute caution,” Tram Anh said.
To balance her studies with Union and Association activities, Pham Tram Anh maintains a scientific schedule. From her practical work experience and positive contributions to the school's Union and Association activities, she has earned many titles.
Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Youth Union of Danang University of Architecture, said that Pham Tram Anh's special factor is that she is a student studying a major that is relatively difficult for women.
“During her studies, Tram Anh demonstrated good social skills, was very active and enthusiastic. Her enthusiasm acted as a catalyst, promoting the movement activities of the school union. Currently, in addition to her role as a collaborator in the school union office, Tram Anh is also the Deputy Secretary of the Faculty Youth Union.
