Mai Dich steel overpass strengthens the row of markers to prevent vehicles from encroaching on lanes.

TPO - Faced with the situation of many cars and motorbikes still encroaching on lanes and driving in the wrong lane, Mai Dich steel overpass has just been reinforced with soft traffic cones to prevent them.

After more than half a month of opening two steel overpasses for vehicles traveling in the inner city area, many motorbikes still go up the concrete bridge (lane for cars on the elevated road of Ring Road 3).

To completely prevent this situation and reduce conflicts and accident risks, the construction and management unit of the bridge has installed additional rows of marker posts (red arrows).

The row of traffic cones preventing cars and motorbikes from encroaching on lanes has helped the elevated Ring Road 3 expressway and the newly put into use steel overpass operate as designed.

Urban traffic (Pham Hung - Pham Van Dong Street) and the elevated road of Ring Road 3 are clearly separated.

With the installation of this row of traffic cones, traffic on the elevated ramp of Ring Road 3 when going down to Mai Dich intersection is organized in the direction where cars are allowed to turn right (arrow); cars and motorbikes traveling on the road below are prohibited from going up the concrete overpass (elevated Ring Road 3).

Although there are signs and solid lines prohibiting motorbikes and cars from turning left to get onto the concrete overpass (Ring Road 3 overhead), many motorbikes still encroach on the lines (arrows), only moving straight when they see the marker.

Among the vehicles violating the law were passenger transport service cars.

With the addition of two more steel overpasses and the installation of additional traffic cones, the Mai Dich intersection now has smooth traffic flow, reducing conflicts and traffic congestion.
