(Dan Tri) - A man driving a motorbike on the street in Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh) was suddenly hit by a fallen milk flower tree and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.
At 11:15 a.m. on December 27, a serious incident occurred on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Quang Trung Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. A milk flower tree suddenly uprooted and fell, crushing a man riding a motorbike.
According to witnesses, the man driving the motorbike with license plate 77X8-84.xx was moving from Quy Nhon Bus Station to Quy Nhon Port, when he was in front of house number 500A when he was crushed by an uprooted milk flower tree and injured.
A woman selling tea near the scene said the victim, about 60 years old, had just left a nearby vaccination center when the accident happened. He was injured in the leg and was taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment.
At the scene, a milk flower tree fell across the road, obstructing traffic, while the front of the motorbike was broken.
After receiving the news, Quang Trung Ward Police coordinated with Quy Nhon City Traffic Police to protect the scene and regulate traffic.
Quy Nhon Urban Green Park and Lighting Joint Stock Company has mobilized human resources and vehicles to clean up the scene, ensuring traffic returns to normal.
