The 2025 Festival of the Quintessence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea opens up a unique cultural, artistic and culinary space, promoting the image of the new Gia Lai province.

On the evening of August 29, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province opened the festival "The Quintessence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea 2025" with the theme "Aspiration for the Blue Sea - Shining Great Forest".

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Head of the festival steering committee, delivered the opening speech.

This is a large-scale cultural and tourism event to promote the image of the new Gia Lai province after the merger of the two provinces of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai (old), and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Standing Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Head of the festival's Steering Committee, emphasized: "The convergence of the quintessence of the great forest and blue sea is not only an occasion to honor traditional cultural values ​​and natural heritage, but also a bridge to bring Gia Lai's image far and wide, strongly integrating with domestic and international friends."

Coming to the festival, visitors have the opportunity to experience a variety of things: from the Central Highlands gong culture space, roasted and blended coffee, ocean tuna cuisine to street festival art programs, light festivals and traditional art forms such as bai choi, hat tuong, Cham dance, ho ba trao.

The highlight of the opening night was a special art program with the themes "Legend of the golden forest and silver sea" and "The sea calls the great forest - firmly reaching out to sea" performed by nearly 200 singers and actors.

Performances such as: Legend of the two regions of the Con River, Returning to Gia Lai, My hometown Binh Dinh, Legendary region, Gia Lai say hi ... depicted the image of the homeland, people, cultural history and development potential of Gia Lai land.
