In the Kera vegetable candy case, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency determined that 4 defendants from Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company and Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Grand International 2021) had committed acts of deceiving customers.

The 4 defendants include: Le Tuan Linh (Director, legal representative), Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (Hang "Nutrition", Chairman of the Board of Directors), Le Thanh Cong and Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlogs).

The investigation concluded that in July 2024, Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang "Nutrition" and some associates discussed establishing a company operating in the field of livestreaming and online sales.

Le Thanh Cong is a notable figure in the case. During the meeting, he proposed the idea of ​​producing vegetable candy and expressed his desire to give the product to Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien because this beauty queen “does not like to eat vegetables”. He also suggested inviting Tien to join the project and be the one to rent the headquarters and find a manufacturer for the vegetable candy.

Le Thanh Cong, born in 1989 (Thanh Vinh ward, Nghe An ) - Member of the Board of Directors of Chi Em Rot Company. When it was first established in November 2024, Cong contributed 19% of the charter capital, equivalent to 950 million VND, just behind Hang "Du Muc" (25%).

Although little known to the public, Le Thanh Cong is the person who organizes and operates behind the scenes the livestream activities selling Kera vegetable candy of Quang Linh Vlogs, Hang "Du Muc" and Thuy Tien.

Before joining Thuy Tien in this project, Le Thanh Cong and Thuy Tien had a business relationship since 2021 - the time before Thuy Tien was crowned Miss, they were the two founding shareholders of Pharco Vietnam Joint Stock Company.

The company's initial charter capital was 4 billion VND. Of which, Le Thanh Cong held 55% of the shares, Thuy Tien contributed 10%. This company is the owner and exclusive distributor of the Adopt' perfume brand in Vietnam. After 4 months of the company's establishment, Quang Linh Vlogs quickly joined, introduced as Vice President of the company.

Appearing together on the shareholder list of many businesses and having connections with the Quang Linh Vlogs group, Thuy Tien and Le Thanh Cong create a remarkable partnership in many fields such as food, cosmetics and consumer products.

Before his arrest, Le Thanh Cong was also the legal representative, contributing capital to establish about 6 other businesses and business units in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. However, after his prosecution in April, many related businesses also had strong fluctuations.

Specifically, Le Thanh Cong used to be the Director or General Director, Legal Representative at many enterprises in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with many business lines such as programming, advertising, fashion, real estate.

These include Boxi Vietnam, 6INCH Vietnam, ADS Group Vietnam or Sen Property, with charter capital ranging from several hundred million to 6 billion VND. However, according to data from the National Business Registration Portal, most of these companies are no longer operating at their registered addresses.

Le Thanh Cong also used to be the legal representative for the office of Haravan Technology Joint Stock Company in Hanoi, but this office has also ceased operations.

This individual also contributed capital to establish many other companies such as contributing 3 billion VND (equivalent to 60% of capital) to establish BB Capital Investment Joint Stock Company in June 2021; contributing 500 million VND (equivalent to 20% of capital) to establish F99 Investment and Technology Joint Stock Company in August 2019.
