New Horizon episode 28: Ha Phuong hospitalized, Quynh Huong spreads news of pregnancy

In last night’s episode, Ha Phuong (Dam Phuong Linh) suffered from appendicitis and had to be hospitalized, forcing Hoang Quan (Xuan Phuc) to put aside all his work to stay by her bedside day and night. The moment when Quan fell asleep next to her hospital bed made Phuong’s heart both flutter and ache. Because deep down, she knew this feeling was just a “fated love” – he was the son of her enemy.

However, Quan's attentive care did not escape Quynh Huong's (Bella Mai). As soon as she received news that Phuong was in the hospital, Huong immediately became suspicious and went to find her. Seeing Quan close to his "rival", Huong exploded with jealousy. She cleverly pushed Quan out, then informed Dinh Bao (Thanh Khon). As expected, Bao put his work in Saigon aside and immediately returned to take care of Phuong.

Not only was she jealous, Huong also put on a great show for her future mother-in-law. In front of Mrs. Thom, she pretended to be nauseous and complained that she couldn’t eat anything, making her mother-in-law suspect that she was pregnant. Seeing Mrs. Thom happy, Huong became more confident that she had the “ticket” to tie Quan down.

Meanwhile, Quan faced pressure from Mr. Phung, who continuously tried to persuade him to cooperate in business. By bluntly refusing, Quan showed more determination in keeping his distance from Huong's family. But when he returned to the hospital and saw Dinh Bao next to Ha Phuong, his eyes showed disappointment and sadness.

As for Quynh Huong, after her calculations, she always had to live in a torn relationship. On one hand, she pretended to worry about Hien - her close friend who was pregnant but only waited for the day Hien gave birth so she could take the child for herself. On the other hand, Huong started the fake "pregnancy" drama to consolidate her position in Hoang Quan's family. Deep down, she longed to live peacefully and honestly, but perhaps the calculations and expectations from her father - Mr. Ky Phung (Mai Son Lam) made Huong feel like she was being swept away, lost between two choices: listening to her conscience or continuing to fall into the spiral of sin.
