The ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate recognizing the intangible cultural heritage "Via Ba Chua Xu Festival of Sam Mountain" as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity will take place on the evening of March 19, at the national tourist area of ​​Sam Mountain, Sam Mountain ward, Chau Doc city.

On March 14, in Chau Doc City, the People's Committee of An Giang Province held a press conference to inform about the ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate recognizing the intangible cultural heritage "Via Ba Chua Xu Festival of Sam Mountain" as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, and the opening of the Via Ba Chua Xu Festival of Sam Mountain in 2025 with the participation of about 2,000 people.

Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy - Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee - said that the organization of the ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate and the opening of the Via Ba Chua Xu festival on Sam mountain aims to honor, propagate and widely promote the heritage values ​​of An Giang to more widely the people and tourists; at the same time, increase the awareness of the domestic and international community about the cultural, historical values ​​and significance of the Via Ba Chua Xu festival on Sam mountain.
