House fire kills 2 people in District 5

At more than 9:00 a.m. on August 29, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH, PC07), Ho Chi Minh City Police and District 5 Police were still blocking off and investigating the fire at a private and rental house that killed two people.

Previously, at around 6:30 a.m. the same day, people discovered smoke and fire breaking out at a residential and rental house at 9/2 Mac Thien Tich Street (Ward 11, District 5, HCMC) so they shouted.

There were many flammable objects inside the house so the fire burned fiercely. People used water and fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

Police blocked off the scene of the fire.

Upon receiving the news, PC07 Department mobilized District 5 Fire Prevention and Fighting Force with 3 fire trucks and 14 officers and soldiers to put out the fire.

By 7:20 a.m. the same day, authorities had completely extinguished the fire.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered two unidentified bodies. The incident caused much of the property inside the house to burn down.
