After the historic flood, Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards (in Tuyen Quang province) were submerged in mud. Houses were deeply submerged, properties were damaged, streets were devastated... leaving behind many worries and struggles for the people. Many people's faces still showed signs of fatigue after sleepless nights of watching the flood, but their hands quickly started cleaning up, trying to restore parts of their lives.

On the streets, each wooden plank, cabinet, table and chair set, rice bag, noodle box… covered with mud was dragged out to dry in the sun. The restaurant owner wiped each table and chair still soaked with mud, the small worker tried to clean each pot. Clothes and blankets stained with mud were hastily washed and dried tightly on the fences. Despite the mess and filth, in that difficult time, there was still a glimmer of sharing: the strong came to help the weak, neighbors called each other to clean up. Amidst the mud and flood, human love became clearer, supporting people to be more steadfast after the loss.
