Routes are temporarily banned according to vehicle type
- Routes inside Ring Road I (except for routes with strict prohibitions in section 2): temporarily banned for all types of vehicles (except vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles handling and troubleshooting).
- Routes in the area from Ring Road I to Ring Road II (except for routes with strict bans in section 2): temporarily banned for trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except for vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles handling and troubleshooting).
City Police recommends that traffic participants limit traffic on the routes.
- Routes in the area from Ring Road II to Ring Road III: restrict traffic for passenger transport vehicles with less than 16 seats, private cars, and motorbikes.
- Routes in the area from Ring Road I to Ring Road II: traffic restrictions for vehicles.
- For some routes from Ring Road III towards the suburban area (including: National Highway 32, Cau Dien, Ho Tung Mau, Le Duc Tho, Le Quang Dao, Thang Long Avenue, Cultural Village Road, National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh Road, National Highway 6, Quang Trung, Tran Phu, Nguyen Trai, Provincial Road 419, Provincial Road 429, Vo Nguyen Giap, National Highway 18): restrict traffic for vehicles (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles for handling and troubleshooting, vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony).
Organize directions for vehicles
Cars temporarily banned from National Highway 5, Hanoi- Bac Giang Expressway, Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway to Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway move through Thanh Tri Bridge → Elevated Ring Road III → Do Muoi Interchange → Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway.
Vehicles from the Eastern provinces (Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh...) to the Northern, Western, and Northwestern provinces (Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang...) travel along the route: Phu Dong Bridge → Thanh Tri Bridge → Ring Road III → Thang Long Bridge → Vo Van Kiet...; or from National Highway 5 → Nguyen Duc Thuan → Thanh Tri Bridge approach road → Phu Dong Bridge → Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway → Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway to Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang provinces... and vice versa.
Vehicles from the Northern provinces (Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho...) to the Southern provinces (Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa...) travel along the route: National Highway 2 → Vo Van Kiet → Thang Long Bridge → Elevated Ring Road III → Do Muoi Interchange → Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway.
Trucks with a total designed weight of 10 tons or more traveling on the elevated Ring Road III are restricted from moving down to intersections on Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Khuat Duy Tien, and Nguyen Xien streets and must comply with the direction and guidance of the authorities.

Hanoi Police also recommended that people from provinces and localities coming to Hanoi to participate in the activities of the Anniversary use passenger transport cars, public transport, especially the elevated train (route 2A Cat Linh-Ha Dong: from Yen Nghia station-Ha Dong ward to Cat Linh station-O Cho Dua ward; route 3 Nhon-Hanoi station: from Nhon station-Tay Tuu ward to Cau Giay station-Giang Vo ward).
People walking on some streets in Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Hai Ba Trung, Giang Vo, Ngoc Ha wards and locations around Ba Dinh Square; comply with the instructions of the authorities, stand on the sidewalk, do not jostle, spill onto the roadway causing obstruction to marching groups, parades, and marches; leave in order, following the instructions of the authorities.
The time for banning, temporarily banning and restricting traffic on some routes may be changed and adjusted to ensure compliance with the program of the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary./.
