Details of Toyota Fortuner LEADER 2025 priced at 1 billion VND in Southeast Asia

Toyota Fortuner LEADER has just launched in the Southeast Asian market, specifically Thailand, with prices ranging from 1,239,000 to 1,600,000 baht (equivalent to 1 billion to 1.3 billion VND).

Toyota Thailand has just introduced the new version of Fortuner LEADER with prices ranging from 1,239,000 to 1,600,000 baht (equivalent to 1 billion to 1.3 billion VND). The notable highlight in this update is the appearance of the new LEADER 2.4 G Plus 2WD AT variant, accompanied by a series of upgrades in comfort and safety equipment.

The G Plus version is equipped with an electric tailgate system with anti-jamming function, a 360-degree panoramic camera Panoramic View Monitor and 18-inch alloy wheels with a special paint design. The selling price of this version is listed at 1,439,000 baht, 39,000 baht higher than the standard G version.

In addition to adding a new version, Toyota also upgraded the safety and driving assistance systems on the entire product range of the new Fortuner LEADER 2025.

Specifically, the LEADER S version is equipped with additional systems such as blind spot warning (BSM), rear cross traffic alert (RCTA), forward collision warning (FCW) and front vehicle departure warning (TMN).

Meanwhile, the LEADER V version is upgraded with the Toyota Safety Sense safety package including features such as collision prevention system (PCS), rear door open warning (RDA) and radar adaptive cruise control (Dynamic Radar Cruise Control). All versions keep the same price as before.

The new Toyota Fortuner LEADER still uses a 2.4L turbocharged diesel engine code 2GD-FTV, producing a maximum capacity of 150 horsepower at 3,400 rpm and maximum torque of 400 Nm in the engine speed range from 1,600 to 2,000 rpm.

A six-speed automatic transmission comes standard, with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive available depending on the trim level.

In terms of dimensions, the Fortuner LEADER 2025 has an overall length of 4,795 mm, width of 1,855 mm, height of 1,835 mm and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Ground clearance is 193 mm, suitable for multi-terrain travel needs.

Toyota also removed the two exterior color options of blue and red on the new Fortuner LEADER 2025, instead retaining four colors including gray, black, silver and pearl white (additional charge of 12,000 baht).
