Warship Tran Hung Dao of the Vietnam Navy visits Japan

The welcoming ceremony for the Vietnamese Navy ship and delegation was held right at the Yokosuka Base port. Colonel Sasaki, chief of the Yokosuka Base administration, along with officers and soldiers of the Yokosuka Base welcomed the delegation.

Colonel Sasaki welcomed the delegation and officers and sailors of the Tran Hung Dao warship to visit Japan. Yokosuka base will create the best conditions for the Vietnamese Navy delegation to have a meaningful stay in Japan with activities within the framework of the visit achieving the planned plan and being successful. Colonel Le Hong Chien thanked them for the warm welcome.

This is also the first time the Vietnam Navy has sent a ship to visit Japan on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations.
