Overwhelmed with 3D mapping technology recreating the Hai Ba Trung uprising

The semi-realistic art program, combining modern 3D mapping technology, was held for the first time in Me Linh district ( Hanoi ) to help recreate the Hai Ba Trung uprising.

On the evening of February 15 (the 5th day of Tet), the People's Committee of Me Linh district organized a rehearsal for a special sound and light performance program with the theme "Echoes of Me Linh". The program is part of the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and the opening of the Hai Ba Trung Temple festival in the spring of Giap Thin 2024.

The special art program tells the historical story in a modern, new way with consecutive chapters and scenes, subtly transformed by lighting techniques, attractive music and diverse forms of expression such as: Singing, circus, dance, drum ensemble...

“Me Linh Echo” connects the past - present - future, is a topic that evokes many associations, easily conveys many content messages, brings the audience closer to the history of the Hai Ba Trung period in a subtle, realistic, attractive and effective way.

The stage constantly changes the setting, vividly recreating the scenes of life of the ancient Au Lac people (the Trung Sisters' period), or the horror of the country being lost and homes being destroyed when the enemy invaded, robbed, and trampled on the people, the scene of the sacred forest and poisonous water when the people had to go looking for sacrificial products, or the fiery atmosphere in the call to recruit soldiers to gather and raise the uprising flag of the Trung Sisters...

The background is constantly changing, combined with lighting effects, music... This is also a semi-realistic art program, combining modern 3D mapping technology, held for the first time in Me Linh district to commemorate and pay tribute to the merits of the two national heroines Trung Trac and Trung Nhi and the generals who participated in the uprising to regain national independence in the years 40 - 43 AD.

The art program "Echoes of Me Linh" is expected to become a unique cultural, artistic and tourism product; providing profound educational experiences for students at schools to learn about historical values, traditional culture, love for the homeland, and the will to be self-reliant of the nation; contributing to promoting the development of Me Linh tourism, commensurate with the rich history and traditional culture of the district and worthy of being a "tourist destination".

The 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and the opening ceremony of the Hai Ba Trung Temple festival in the spring of Giap Thin 2024 will take place at 8:00 p.m. on February 15, 2024 (ie the evening of the 6th day of the first lunar month) at the Hai Ba Trung Temple Special National Monument.

To best serve the needs of the people watching the program, the People's Committee of Me Linh district has installed 3 large outdoor LED screen clusters at 3 locations: the campus of Ha Loi Communal House, Me Linh commune; the football field area of ​​Tien Phong commune and the Fish Pond area of ​​Trang Viet commune (behind Hai Ba Trung Temple). The Hai Ba Trung Temple Festival will take place until January 10. This year, in addition to the procession and traditional rituals, cultural and artistic activities, folk games, and sports competitions are still organized to serve the people and tourists. Notably, the special sound and light performance program with the theme "Me Linh Echoes".
