As a familiar charity address every flood season, from early morning on September 30, the kitchen of Tung Duong wedding restaurant, Yen Bai ward, was red hot when all staff were mobilized to participate in preparing free meals to support flood victims.

Some washed vegetables, some sliced meat, cooked soup, fried eggs… everyone was in a hurry, putting all their heart into each step, their eyes shining with determination and dedication. All were aiming for the sole goal of delivering hot meals to the people surrounded by floodwaters.
Ms. Pham Thu Huong - owner of Tung Duong wedding restaurant shared: "Initially, I planned to cook 500 meals, however, many benefactors and the Lao Cai Province Women Entrepreneurs Club contacted us, so we supported cooking 500 more meals from their funding. Each meal given out carries our love, hope, and sharing, so that people affected by natural disasters can feel that, amidst the floods, there are still kind hearts that always accompany them."

At Dai Vuong restaurant in Yen Bai ward, nearly 50 women's association members gathered early to prepare charity meals. Under the skillful hands of the women, 400 meals were prepared with full nutrition, showing their sharing to the families isolated in the floodwaters.
Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa - Head of Dong Tam 4 Women's Union, Yen Bai Ward said: "Women's Unions at all levels of the ward have mobilized members to join hands to support funds and efforts to promptly support our compatriots in difficult times. Although the work is hard, everyone is happy and joyful because they know that these meals will help our compatriots reduce difficulties during the rainy and flood days."

Once the meals are ready, they are quickly delivered by boat to isolated families. Amidst the vast floodwaters, the warmth of humanity spreads, connecting people who are overcoming difficulties together.
Unable to hide his emotions when receiving the rice, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Hong Thanh residential group, Yen Bai ward shared: "Seeing the hot rice, my eyes filled with tears. There was a power outage, no water, the house was flooded, we could not prepare a meal for ourselves, but everyone came in time, bringing with them human kindness."

Along with households, meals are also delivered to special locations. Specialist Doctor I Nguyen Van Chien - Deputy Director of Yen Bai Regional Medical Center said: "When the center was isolated due to deep flooding on the roads, many patients were still being treated as inpatients and could not go out.
Receiving the charity meals, our medical team, doctors and patients were all moved. Each lunch box ensures nutrition and food safety, helping patients have good health, adding spirit to overcome difficulties and continue treatment during the days of rising floods."

Storm No. 10 submerged many houses, separating the lives of many families, but amidst the immense floodwaters, hearts of sharing spread in time.
Thousands of carefully prepared meals have contributed to the spiritual strength of households and patients. These simple but meaningful acts of sharing clearly demonstrate that, no matter how severe the natural disaster, the community always stands side by side, bringing faith and hope for the days after the flood.
