Proactive and flexible in information and propaganda work

In the third quarter of 2024, the propaganda system of the whole province closely followed the direction of the Central Propaganda Department and the work program of the Party Committee, proactively, creatively, flexibly, innovated implementation methods, advised and proposed, effectively and qualitatively implemented tasks according to the program, plan and arising tasks.

Propaganda Departments at all levels have actively and proactively advised Party committees to innovate and improve the quality of research, study, dissemination and propaganda of Party resolutions and directives, and organized conferences; proactively oriented the press, guided propaganda on commemorating major holidays and important political events of the country and the province; and information and propaganda work on natural disaster prevention and control in the province...

Activities to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints continue to be innovated and improved in quality, contributing to maintaining internal political security from the province to the grassroots level, strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party and State.

The press agencies in the province promptly informed and propagated about the working trip of General Secretary and President To Lam to inspect the work of flood and storm prevention and control and visit and encourage people in flooded and stormy areas in Tuyen Quang province; timely information and updates on storm No. 3 (storm Yagi), flood and storm response and prevention work, rain and flood situation in the province; directive documents of the Central Government and the province on natural disaster prevention and control so that people can proactively prevent, avoid, and ensure people's lives and property; damage caused by rain and floods; activities to help and support people; results and situation of overcoming damage caused by storms and floods in the province.

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified some points that need to be noted in the implementation of information and propaganda tasks, press and publishing management in the third quarter; discussed and proposed some contents to continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of information and propaganda work in the coming time. Delegates also suggested that there should be more effective coordination between departments, branches, localities and press agencies, especially the responsibility in interacting and responding to readers on fanpages of press and media agencies.

In her concluding remarks at the conference, Nong Thi Bich Hue, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, emphasized: During the quarter, the propaganda system and press agencies across the province were proactive and flexible in performing their tasks. Especially during the recent storm and flood, the press agencies closely followed the grassroots, closely followed the weather situation, and the direction and inspection activities of the provincial leaders on storm and flood prevention.

The press also promptly reported on flood relief activities, the spirit of mutual love of the people in difficult circumstances; quickly informed about the damage situation. In difficult times of storms and floods, there were no gaps, full and timely information, creating a positive effect in society.

He suggested that in the coming time, the propaganda system of the whole province and press agencies need to closely follow the issues and events of the country and the province to perform well the information and propaganda tasks; focus on advising the Party Committee to effectively carry out the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; continue to improve the effectiveness of the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

In propaganda work, the focus is on leadership and direction towards preparing for party congresses at all levels; the implementation of socio-economic development targets and tasks in the fourth quarter of 2024; focusing on propagating the country's "New belief, new spirit"; the synchronous participation of the political system and the initial efforts of the entire Party, people and army; the country's situation continues to be stable and developing with many outstanding marks; the Party's will - the people's heart; the sentiments and beliefs of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life towards the Party, the State, and the cause of national renewal to create motivation for the entire political system to strive to fulfill the goals set out in resolutions of party congresses at all levels.

In particular, press agencies need to clearly propagate the attention of the Party, the State, and the province in building a policy mechanism to support people affected by storms and floods; grasp the content of information and propaganda according to Regulation 234 of the Central Party Secretariat on information on the activities of Party and State leaders; continue to be proactive in handling bad and toxic information, and promptly orient public opinion among the people.
