Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, emphasized that the patriotic emulation movements at the publishing house in recent years have become effective measures to arouse the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges, and determination to excellently complete the assigned political tasks of the publishing house's cadres, party members, and employees.

These movements contribute to improving the quality of editing, publishing, distribution, scientific research, and propaganda and introduction of publications to raise the level and political awareness of cadres, party members and people; and to build a clean and strong Party and political system of the publishing house.

During the 2020-2025 period, the emulation and reward work has always been closely directed and innovated by the leaders of the National Political Publishing House in a practical and effective direction, closely linked to political tasks. Many extensive emulation movements have been launched.

The outstanding result is that the publishing house has edited and published more than 2,500 paper books with nearly 28 million copies printed, along with more than 1,000 e-books; has developed many specialized e-bookcases such as: Bookcase for Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation, Electronic Party Cell Bookcase, Electronic Bookcase of President Ho Chi Minh , Electronic Bookcase of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Legal Bookcase... and donated to 55 agencies, units and localities with nearly 8,000 accounts, serving millions of readers at home and abroad.

In 5 years, the publishing house has implemented 14 scientific topics at the Central Party Committee level, 26 grassroots-level projects, organized 1 international scientific conference, 37 national scientific conferences, 36 scientific seminars. Foreign affairs activities have been expanded, promoting and publishing Vietnamese theoretical and political books to the world. Many collectives and individuals have achieved high results in competitions to protect the Party's ideological foundation; many typical collectives and outstanding individuals have many initiatives and useful solutions.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, the publishing house continues to effectively organize emulation movements associated with key political tasks, notably the emulation movement to promote the glorious tradition of 80 years of construction and development (1945-2025) as the leading theoretical and political publishing agency of the Party and State, promoting digital transformation, applying management software to monitor and evaluate emulation.

The publishing house increases the use of artificial intelligence, improves the quality and efficiency of editing, publishing and distribution activities to effectively provide and disseminate theoretical and political knowledge, widely propagate the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, improve the level and political awareness of cadres, party members and people, promote socio-economic development, maintain national defense and security, actively integrate internationally, affirm the country's position and prestige in the region and the world.

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies Nguyen Thi Hoang Van highly appreciated the comprehensive results that the National Political Publishing House Truth has achieved. In the period of 2025-2030, the patriotic emulation movement of the publishing house needs to continue to affirm and promote the role of the Party's political and ideological publishing agency; the emulation movement needs to be strongly innovated; digital transformation needs to be promoted, and publications and distribution methods need to be diversified. The publishing house needs to pay attention to building a team of brave and professional staff who can master new technologies; at the same time, strengthen international cooperation to spread the Party's ideological and theoretical values to the world, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's prestige and position in the world.

At the Congress, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025 were awarded noble awards from the Party and State: First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals; Emulation Flag of the Government; Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister; Emulation Flag of the Publishing House; Certificate of Merit of the Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Publishing House.

On this occasion, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam launched a patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025-2030 in the entire publishing house with the theme: "Innovation - Creativity - Proactiveness - Discipline - Efficiency - For the development of the publishing house".
