Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, Major General Nguyen Hong Phong requested agencies and units to firmly grasp the actual strength and equipment of artillery forces in all directions and units; proactively study, grasp the situation, and advise and propose to the Ministry of National Defense on the organization and use of artillery according to combat plans in new conditions.

Strive to have many artillery companies, battalions, and brigades achieve the "Standards of well-trained artillery units" and "exemplary, typical" comprehensive strong units by the end of the year.

Strengthening the building of discipline and discipline; ensuring good logistics, technology and finance for tasks. Synchronously implementing solutions to build a politically strong Corps; building a strong Party organization; Party committees and organizations at all levels continue to thoroughly implement the principle of democratic centralism, working regulations, and leadership regulations for key work aspects.
