Ninh Binh: Actively helping people overcome storm No. 10

Immediately after storm No. 10 made landfall, causing much damage in Ninh Binh province, following the order of the Commander of the Provincial Military Command, officers and soldiers of agencies and units in the provincial armed forces simultaneously mobilized, coordinated with the Party Committee, government and people to focus on overcoming the consequences, and soon stabilize people's lives.

In Quy Nhat commune, Ninh Binh province, the storm blew off the roofs of many houses, trees were scattered all over the roads, many houses had their roofs blown off and collapsed completely. In that situation, the Provincial Military Command mobilized thousands of officers and soldiers to vulnerable areas to promptly support the people. While the rain was still heavy, hundreds of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command braved the rain to clean up houses with their roofs blown off and completely collapsed, and at the same time urgently coordinated with the locality to cut down trees, clear sewers, clear landslides, ensure smooth traffic, clear roads blocked by fallen trees, and ensure smooth traffic.

Officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 3, Dong A, actively cleaned up houses that had their roofs blown off or completely collapsed.

At the same time, the provincial military forces continue to maintain their forces on standby, ready to evacuate, rescue and salvage in case of heavy rain causing flooding and flash floods, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. Mobile working groups continue to closely monitor the area, coordinate with the authorities to warn of the risk of landslides and flooding and support the evacuation of people from dangerous areas.
