After inspecting the scene, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet had a working session to listen to relevant units and local authorities report on the situation and make recommendations and proposals.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet said that it is necessary to study more carefully the feasibility of the solutions, ensuring synchronization, suitability with reality and the ability to balance the budget. The initial data of the locations of the Free Trade Zones is only general; therefore, during the implementation process, departments, branches and localities need to coordinate to check and review specifically, especially on population data to be able to deploy appropriate solutions and plans.

After this working session, departments, branches and sectors need to synthesize recommendations, proposals as well as problems and difficulties to report to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee as soon as possible.

According to the Management Board of the city's high-tech park and industrial parks, in phase 1 (2025 - 2027), it will continue to propose additional personnel to serve the management of the city's Free Trade Zone and newly received industrial parks, associated with training of management staff.

At the same time, complete the local adjustment of the city's master plan, supplement the planning of the zones and complete the approval of the zoning plan for the construction of functional zones of the Free Trade Zone; complete the legal system, issue specific regulations on tax, customs and administrative procedures as well as build preferential policies to attract investment in functional zones, especially focusing on completing the work of site clearance.

In Phase 2 (2028 - 2030), the Management Board of the city's high-tech parks and industrial parks will focus on perfecting the application of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence in customs management, expanding multimodal logistics services, developing data centers to support businesses in supply chain management, perfecting the digital economic ecosystem and expanding the scope, boundaries and infrastructure investment for free trade zone development.

Da Nang Free Trade Zone includes 7 non-contiguous locations, oriented to function and urbanization according to each location. It is expected that location 1 (100ha, in Hai Van ward) will be a logistics and logistics center serving Lien Chieu port, focusing on smart warehouses and distribution.

Location 2 (77ha, Hai Van ward) is a logistics, production and supporting industry complex, adjacent to Lien Chieu Industrial Park. Location 3 (500ha, Hai Van ward) is a logistics, production and ecological service trade complex along Cu De river, connected to Lien Chieu port.

Location 4 (559ha, Ba Na commune) is a complex, production and logistics supporting high technology, adjacent to the High-Tech Park, Concentrated Information Technology Park. Location 5 (90ha, Ba Na commune) is a complex of trade - services, resorts, high-quality healthcare , near Suoi Mo, Suoi Lanh, supporting golf course and Ba Na Hills.

Location 6 (154ha, Ba Na commune) is a commercial - service, resort, and supporting industry complex, connecting with Ba Na Hills tourist area, serving neighboring high-tech industrial parks. Location 7 (401ha, Hoa Vang commune) is a science, technology, and innovation complex, focusing on research institutes, technology development centers, startups, and has special amenities.
