Inspecting the Lien Chieu Port Construction Investment Project - Shared Infrastructure and Coastal Road connecting Lien Chieu Port, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An acknowledged and commended the serious and responsible working spirit of the team of workers constructing the project.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects in Da Nang, contractors and construction units continue to promote a sense of responsibility, focus resources, and speed up construction progress to ensure completion on schedule.

According to Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects of Da Nang City (investor of the Lien Chieu Port Construction Investment Project - Shared Infrastructure Part), up to now, the project has completed 93.57% of the volume value.

Specifically: the breakwater and revetment projects have been completed at 95.37%; the dredging projects for shipping channels and water areas have been completed at 97.46%; the construction of roads and drainage systems has been completed at 78.16%.

The coastal road project connecting Lien Chieu port has completed 75.24% of the volume value. Of which, the overpass at the beginning of the route has completed 87.4%; the overpass at the end of the route has completed 84.0%; the canal bridge and Lien Chieu bridge have completed 91.3%; the underpass has completed 89.9%; the road has completed 49.8%; and the relocation of technical infrastructure for power supply and lighting has completed 94.3%.

On the same day, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An inspected the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project.

After hearing the report on the project implementation and conducting a field inspection, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the construction unit to urgently develop a plan to prevent landslides and rockslides to ensure safety in the upcoming rainy season.

At the same time, investors are required to seriously implement solutions to ensure absolute safety for the unified railway line and National Highway 1A located near the project area.

Inspecting the location of the Free Trade Zone No. 1 and No. 2 projects and the Resettlement Area project serving projects in the Northwest region, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches, sectors and local authorities to closely coordinate with the Management Board to promptly implement legal procedures and follow-up work, ensuring the overall progress of the projects.

It is known that the Resettlement Area project serving projects in the Northwest region has a total planned research area of 136.15 hectares, deployed to serve the resettlement needs of functional areas at locations 1 and 3 of the Free Trade Zone in Hoa Khanh ward and Lien Chieu ward.

This is an important and urgent project that needs to be implemented urgently to ensure resettlement land funds, serving in a timely manner the construction and development of functional areas in the Free Trade Zone.
