BAC NINH - On the morning of October 14, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, worked with Luxshare ICT Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park), Fuyu Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (Foxconn Group), headquartered in Quang Chau Industrial Park, on the production situation after the flood. Thanks to the coordination and support of the authorities, the Company has overcome and stabilized production. On this occasion, the Company requested the province to soon have solutions to upgrade the water supply and drainage system, ensure stable power supply, handle waste, ensure landscape and security and order in the industrial park.

The company also expressed its gratitude to the provincial leaders and authorities who have accompanied the company for over 10 years. Currently, the company is creating jobs for over 30,000 workers.

Mr. Chau Nghia Van, General Director of Foxconn Vietnam Headquarters, shared that after more than 18 years of investing in Vietnam, the Company has always received attention and support from the province, helping it expand its scale, currently creating jobs for more than 100,000 workers. In the fourth quarter of this year, Foxconn plans to recruit 50,000 more workers and hopes that the province will continue to create favorable conditions for infrastructure to ensure stable production.

In response to the businesses' recommendations, representatives of the departments and branches discussed and answered specific questions such as: Labor recruitment, electricity supply, water drainage, solving traffic congestion during rush hours, domestic water supply, waste treatment as well as short-term and long-term solutions to prevent flooding and protect production in industrial parks.

At the places he visited, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan shared and praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties of businesses during the recent floods. The companies have actively coordinated with the local authorities to overcome the consequences, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity in preventing and fighting natural disasters. Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the efforts of the authorities in overcoming flooding, and affirmed that the province will continue to study stronger solutions to minimize damage caused by natural disasters. Subjective factors such as electricity quality, infrastructure, traffic, and waste treatment will be directed to be resolved immediately. In particular, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board coordinated with the sectors, especially the Department of Agriculture and Environment to calculate the overall water flow, develop drainage plans for each area and location with industrial parks.
