The “Net Zero Vietnam” website is designed as a lively and attractive data journalism channel, providing authentic information to raise public awareness of the harmful effects of the greenhouse effect, solutions to reduce emissions, remove CO₂ from the atmosphere, and at the same time reflect efforts to improve the legal framework, effective initiatives and successful experiences in Vietnam's roadmap towards Net Zero.
The site includes 8 sections: Legal framework; Actions and challenges; Experiences/Good models; World ; Green businesses; Handbook; Expert opinions; Multimedia. Of which, the first 5 sections are arranged on the navigation bar, the remaining 3 sections are designed on the home page to increase interaction with readers.
Legal framework : Update policies, national strategies, action plans of the Government , ministries and branches related to Net Zero; analyze international commitments and legal impacts on businesses and society.
Actions and challenges: Reflects the activities of ministries, branches, localities and enterprises in emission reduction; information on carbon markets, financial, technological and policy difficulties.
Good Experience/Model : Introduce effective models, initiatives, and successful lessons at home and abroad on sustainable development.
World : Update solutions, technologies, and policies to reduce emissions globally.
Green Business : Honoring businesses that are pioneers in green transformation.
Handbook : A concise, easy-to-understand question-and-answer system on climate change and net zero emissions, compiled by the Department of Climate Change (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment).
Expert opinion : Policy analysis and criticism, sharing of expert perspectives on climate, energy and green economy.
Multimedia : Introducing new technologies, typical projects, visual stories and community initiatives towards green development.
A unique highlight of the site is the interactive game “Your Carbon Footprint”, which allows readers to estimate their own greenhouse gas emissions each month based on the calculation model of greenhouse gas inventory experts. This is both an educational and entertaining tool, helping each individual better understand their responsibility in reducing emissions.
With a modern approach and rich content, the "Net Zero Vietnam" website hopes to spread the spirit of initiative and creativity, arouse social responsibility in each specific action, contributing to building a prosperous, low-emission Vietnam - for the green future of the country and the planet.
