During more than 20 years of investment and operation locally, Sankoh Co., Ltd. has always been consistent with the motto of green, environmentally friendly production.
Spread from industry to agriculture
That orientation has been demonstrated by a series of effective projects. Bandai Vietnam Co., Ltd., specializing in the production of automotive wiring harnesses, supplies 15 million products to many international partners each year. During the production process, the enterprise ensures economic efficiency while strictly complying with environmental standards. Sharing the same goal of sustainable development, Sankoh Vietnam Co., Ltd., operating in the field of electronic component production, is always consistent with the motto "green - friendly - sustainable". In more than 20 years of investing locally, the Company has built a safe environment from the factory to the surrounding environment.
Recently, at the inauguration ceremony of the Phase I Electronic Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing and Production Plant, Mr. Atsushi Satake - Executive Vice President of Meiko Corporation (Japan) affirmed: We seriously implement and accompany local authorities in realizing the goal of "Green Transformation" to closely link economic benefits with environmental and social responsibilities.
The above results confirm that Phu Tho is on the right track in choosing development priorities. The success of Meiko, Bandai, Sankoh and many factories and corporations in all localities and industrial parks in the whole province shows that green production and green investment have brought values, efficiency and are also a fulcrum for sustainable development.
"Green production" in industry has created momentum for sustainable development of the province's socio-economy.
In recent times, "Green Transformation" has not only been limited to industrial production but has covered all areas of life and socio-economics of the province. In agriculture, organic farming and circular agriculture models are being replicated. People have boldly switched from traditional production methods to applying high technology, saving water, and reducing the use of chemicals. According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment in 2025, the province has encouraged the restructuring from traditional crops to fruit trees and short-term industrial crops that bring high economic efficiency, in line with the trend of organic and circular agriculture. In livestock farming, although the total herd of buffaloes and cows has decreased, the output of all kinds of meat is estimated at over 324 thousand tons, an increase of 1.7% over the same period. This is the result of applying a biosafety farming model and reducing emissions.
Along with that, the aquaculture area on irrigation and hydropower reservoirs associated with natural resource protection and ecotourism development reached nearly 20 thousand hectares, with an output of more than 46 thousand tons, an increase of 4.5%, bringing double efficiency in both creating livelihoods and protecting the environment. In the health sector, the "green" orientation is reflected in reducing medical plastic waste, increasing the application of digital technology to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment services in a safe and friendly direction. In the tourism sector, community tourism models and experiential tourism associated with cultural identity and natural landscapes contribute to making Phu Tho an attractive destination in the "green journey" of tourists.
Another highlight of the “Green Transformation” is the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program. In the period of 2021 - 2025, the province has issued many policies to support the development of typical products associated with clean, organic, and environmentally friendly agriculture. Many products have been recognized as meeting 4-star and 5-star OCOP standards, becoming typical products of the province.
Turning “Green Transformation” into a growth driver
According to the estimate, the province's economic growth rate in 2025 is estimated to reach over 10%. To achieve this target, the province has issued many resolutions and action plans to closely link economic development with environmental protection, encourage businesses to apply clean technology, save energy and develop renewable energy.
People in the traditional rice noodle production village of Hung Lo, Van Phu ward, have switched from traditional production methods to applying high technology and saving water.
At the consultation and debate workshop on “Green transformation - opportunities and solutions for Phu Tho province” recently organized by the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with Hung Vuong University, Mr. Do Khac Thanh - Principal of the school stated: “Green transformation” is an inevitable trend, which will become one of the main growth drivers in the future. According to him, training high-quality human resources associated with green orientation will determine the success of this strategy. That is also the key condition for the province to concretize its development goals.
From a science and technology perspective, Mr. Ho Dinh Luong - Chairman of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations affirmed: "Green transformation" will bring sustainable development to the locality. This is not only a solution to cope with climate change but also opens up new development space, linking economic benefits with the environment and community.
In fact, when participating in this trend, Phu Tho province also faces both opportunities and challenges. On the one hand, the locality has advantages in terms of location, human resources and diverse potential to implement many green models. On the other hand, the requirements for investment capital, modern technology and changes in social awareness are still barriers. That requires the cooperation and companionship of businesses, authorities and communities to turn "Green Transformation" into practical action.
“Green transformation” in agricultural production is a trend in line with the trend of organic and circular agriculture.
In order to make "Green Transformation" a driving force, in recent times, the province has set a goal of selectively attracting investment, prioritizing high-tech projects, and limiting projects with pollution risks. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on implementing and planning policies to support businesses in technological innovation, applying energy-saving solutions, and developing renewable energy. In particular, in the Documents of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, the issues of "Digital Transformation" and "Green Transformation" have become viewpoints, goals, and central, consistent contents; are political orientations, the basis of the main tasks in the province's socio-economic development until 2030 and the following years, aiming towards a green - circular - sustainable growth economy.
