Changing the purpose of use of more than 82 hectares of forest to build Hoa Tam Industrial Park

The area of forest use purpose conversion for project implementation is 82.49 ha. Specifically, the planted forest has a reserve of 20.67 ha, an average density of 344 trees/ha, a total reserve of nearly 118.9 m ³ ; the planted forest has no reserve of 61.82 ha, a density of 347 trees/ha, including: casuarina, eucalyptus, acacia, acacia, cashew.

The converted forest area belongs to lots 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, plot 4; lots 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, plot 5; lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 11, plot 6; lots 2, 3, 8, 11, 16, plot 7 of Sub-area 343; lots 5, plot 3; lots 4, 6, plot 4; lots 2, 6, plot 5 of Sub-area 344, Hoa Xuan commune, Dak Lak province.

This area is in line with the national forestry planning, not included in the planning of special-use, protective and production forests in the province. At the same time, it is in line with the provincial planning, in which Hoa Tam Industrial Park is determined to be newly established before 2030 with an expected area of 500 hectares and is considered to be expanded to 1,080 hectares.

Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Hoa Tam Industrial Park - Phase 1 has been launched.

The Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project - Phase 1 has been granted an investment policy decision by the Provincial People's Committee, implemented by Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of more than VND 4,188 billion.
