Quynh Phu District Han Nom Calligraphy Club celebrates 10th anniversary

On the morning of December 17, the Han Nom Calligraphy Club of Quynh Phu district held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Mr. Do Quoc Tuan, Director of the Provincial Museum, Chairman of the Thai Binh Han Nom and Calligraphy Club congratulated the Quynh Phu Han Nom Calligraphy Club.

Currently, the Quynh Phu Han Nom Calligraphy Club is home to nearly 50 members of all ages and professions in Quynh Phu district and from other districts and cities in the province and some neighboring provinces. The club gathers members with calligraphy potential to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the nation. Through maintaining classes teaching Han Nom calligraphy every Sunday, organizing exhibitions of members' calligraphy works and exchanging with Han Nom calligraphy clubs in and outside the province, the club's members are more attached to the art of calligraphy.

On this occasion, the Han Nom Calligraphy Club of Quynh Phu district displayed 80 excellent calligraphy works of its members and performed a 100m long book writing performance to honor cultural beauty and introduce to the public an attractive art form, a hobby loved by many people.
