There are 233 individuals and businesses owing more than 146 billion VND in taxes - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

According to the Provincial Tax Department, as of August 31, 2025, the whole province still has 233 individuals and businesses owing over 146 billion VND in long-term taxes and other revenues to the State budget.

Enterprises need to fully perform tax obligations to the state budget.

Of these, there are 2 enterprises with the largest tax debt, including: Trade and Industry Development Company Limited ( Hanoi ) owes over 29 billion VND; Dong Bac Energy Investment and Development Company Limited, Tam Kim commune owes over 22 billion VND.

There are 23 businesses with tax debts ranging from 1 to 8 billion VND. The remaining 200 individuals and businesses owe tax debts ranging from 11 million to nearly 1 billion VND.

The provincial tax authority shall publicize the list of taxpayers owing taxes and other revenues to the State budget, due to taxpayers violating the provisions of Point a, Clause 1, Article 100 of the Law on Tax Administration No. 38/2019/QH14 and Point g, Clause 1, Article 29 of Decree 126/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government .

The disclosure of tax-debt-ridden enterprises aims to increase transparency and create a basis for competent authorities to coordinate in resolving long-standing tax debts. At the same time, it raises awareness of tax compliance among enterprises, helps enterprises fully fulfill their tax obligations to the State budget, contributes to creating a fair and transparent business environment and promotes compliance with the law in the business community.
