Teacher Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh is active and creative in school Youth Union activities.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, is one of 100 outstanding Youth Union officials nationwide to receive the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024.

Happy, surprised, proud, and grateful were Ms. Phuong Anh's first feelings when she learned that she was on the list of 100 outstanding Youth Union officials nationwide to receive the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024.

This is the result of her efforts in activities and work of the Youth Union at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted over the past 5 years.

With the enthusiasm of youth, she has actively trained, tried, devoted her heart and mind to contribute. With the belief that "things that come from the heart, given with the heart will touch the heart", Ms. Phuong Anh won the award reserved for Youth Union officials who have made many contributions to Youth Union work at the grassroots level this year.

Ms. Phuong Anh hosted the final round of the 5th "Road to Olympia" Contest of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.

Since her childhood, studying at Ly Tu Trong Primary School, Ms. Phuong Anh has actively participated in youth movements and activities. Since then, she has become bolder and more confident, igniting the flame of enthusiasm for the Union and youth movements.

In 2018, when she returned to work at the high school she attended, Ms. Phuong Anh brought that passion with her, lighting up the activities and movements of the School Youth Union.

During the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, she and the School Youth Union thoroughly applied digital transformation in activities such as wall newspaper exhibitions on the Padlet platform, "End CoVy" videos on the TikTok platform... As a teacher and young Youth Union officer, she attracted youth union members with many activities that followed youth trends and carried the intelligence, meaning and unique colors of Nguyen Trai specialized students.

Over the past school years, Ms. Phuong Anh has had many initiatives and creative ideas applied in practice such as establishing the Event Club, organizing the program "Welcoming new students", the forum "Building beautiful friendships - Say no to school violence", the model "Youth creative space" through the competitions "Water rocket shooting", "Creative wall newspaper", "Designing STEM application products" to celebrate the anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, Nguyen Trai Specialized Festival 2023 with a series of activities to promote students' talent, intelligence, physical strength and creativity...

She said: "I am lucky to work at the school, every day in contact with intelligent, creative students, and colleagues who are pioneering and innovative teachers, so I am very inspired."

Besides the Youth Union activities, Ms. Phuong Anh's main expertise is teaching English. Participating in the Youth Union activities helps her have many ideas in professional development. She often creates activities and close environments for students to use English such as competitions, writing wall newspapers, writing reports, or applying software and online platforms to learn listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Ms. Phuong Anh was honored as "Advanced Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" of Hai Duong province in 2023.

With those efforts, Ms. Phuong Anh has received many consecutive certificates of merit from the City Youth Union and Provincial Youth Union for her outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and school youth movements, achieving the title of "Advanced Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" at the provincial level in 2023...

Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted received the emulation flag of the Central Youth Union for outstanding performance in the Youth Union work and youth movement of high schools in the 2022-2023 school year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Chi, Secretary of the Hai Duong City Youth Union, assessed Ms. Phuong Anh as an energetic, enthusiastic, active Youth Union officer, with many creative activities in the Youth Union and a high sense of responsibility in carrying out the tasks of the Youth Union. Thanks to Ms. Phuong Anh's active contribution in her role as Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union, the Youth Union of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted has had many outstanding achievements, creative in the way of implementing programs, movements, and campaigns; there are many outstanding models that demonstrate the intelligence and unique identity of the members, youth, and students of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.
