Mr. Truong Gia Binh's shares "save" the market, the mineral group hits the ceiling

(Dan Tri) - FPT shares increased and had the strongest impact on the VN-Index, keeping the market green today.

The stock market experienced a range of emotions on April 2. In the morning, the market maintained the excitement of yesterday's session with strong support from a number of large-cap stocks.

However, entering the afternoon session, the index fell close to the reference, luckily maintaining the green color. At the end of the session, VN-Index increased slightly by 0.5 points, to 1,317.83 points.

FPT stock was the code that had the strongest influence on the index's growth in today's session, with an increase of 1.24%. Following that, Hoa Phat (HPG), GEX ( Gelex ) or VIC ( Vingroup ) stocks all remained green. In particular, VIC code increased the most in the Vingroup group with an increase of 1.17%.

Today, Forbes has just announced the list of world billionaires in 2025, including Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of Vingroup . Vingroup's stock group has increased sharply recently, helping Mr. Vuong become the owner of the largest assets among the 5 Vietnamese billionaires, with an asset value of 6.5 billion USD, an increase of 2.1 billion USD compared to last year and ranked 535th in the ranking.

On the contrary, some bank stocks suppressed the growth of the index, such as LPB (LPBank), STB (Sacombank), MBB ( MBBank ), SSB.

Many mineral stocks recorded positive developments in this session, when some codes hit the ceiling price such as MGC (Mining Geology - TKV), MTA (Ha Tinh Minerals and Trade Corporation - JSC), KSV (TKV Minerals Corporation), BKC (Bac Kan Minerals Company), FCM (Fecon Minerals).

These stocks increased simultaneously after the Department of Geology and Minerals (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) announced that it had discovered and evaluated 110 mineral mines, including 40 gold mines in the Northwest with reserves of nearly 30 tons.
