The recognized banyan trees are located in lot 1, plot 4, sub-area 433B and lot 3, plot 2, sub-area 433A, about 218-300 years old, 32-42m high on average, with special ecological value associated with the history of the development of the Kon Ka Kinh forest ecosystem.

Mr. Ngo Van Thang, Director of Kon Ka Kinh National Park, said that before being recognized, the park had identified the banyan tree as a complex of cultural and historical value, which had been exploited for tourism and become a favorite destination for tourists. Being recognized as a heritage tree will affirm its great cultural and historical value, while contributing to enriching the forest ecosystem. This will also be an important factor in attracting tourists. Based on the heritage banyan tree, this tourist route promises to open up many development potentials, bringing experiences combining the discovery of majestic nature and unique indigenous cultural features.
