Quang Tri Electricity Company focuses on fire prevention, fighting, rescue and relief work.

In recent years, the work of fire prevention and fighting and rescue (PCCC&CNCH) has received special attention from Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) with the motto of "effective remote prevention". Thereby, helping PC Quang Tri to successfully complete production and business tasks, while improving the effectiveness of PCCC&CNCH work.

Director of PC Quang Tri Phan Van Vinh affirmed: “Raising awareness and implementing fire prevention and rescue work is of special concern to PC Quang Tri. This is the task and responsibility of every officer, employee and worker in the entire industry to ensure the safety of life and health for themselves and their families, ensure effective and sustainable production and business for enterprises and safety for society”.

To effectively carry out fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work, every year PC Quang Tri always focuses on and strengthens the dissemination of laws, knowledge and skills on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue for officers, employees and workers to raise awareness, sense of responsibility and voluntary compliance with legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue.

Every year, the unit actively coordinates with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police to organize training courses and professional development for grassroots Fire Prevention and Rescue forces.

The combination of theory and practice has helped each officer, employee and worker participating in the class improve their knowledge and grasp the processes, techniques, tactics, and skillfully use the equipped fire-fighting equipment to proactively and promptly handle fire and explosion situations occurring in the unit and on the scene.

In 2023, PC Quang Tri trained, tested and granted certificates of fire prevention and rescue training to 221 trainees who are managers and fire prevention and rescue forces at the grassroots level of the unit's affiliated units.

In addition, PC Quang Tri has directed local electricity companies to strengthen the dissemination of laws and knowledge to help customers and businesses understand and strictly comply with legal regulations on safety in electricity use to ensure fire safety.

In addition, the unit also sent propaganda documents to organizations and individuals using cranes, dump trucks, forklifts, and businesses with fresh concrete spraying vehicles... in the area to warn of potential risks when operating these vehicles near power lines and electrical equipment.

In 2023, PC Quang Tri will coordinate with an interdisciplinary inspection team including units of the Provincial Police, the Social Order Administrative Management Police Team, the Investment Management Department, the Construction Investment Management Board of Dong Ha City, and the People's Committees of wards and communes to conduct a general inspection and review of fire prevention and rescue work for business establishments, boarding houses, rental houses, mini apartments, boarding schools, and houses combined with production and business with high risk of fire and explosion in Dong Ha City and districts.

At the same time, check the power grid system and infrastructure in industrial parks, clusters, agencies, businesses, and residential areas to prevent fire safety risks from electrical systems and electrical equipment.

In order for the fire prevention and rescue work to operate effectively and practically, the PC Quang Tri headquarters and its affiliated units are equipped with synchronous and full fire prevention and rescue equipment and means such as posting fire fighting regulations and orders, installing alarm bells, emergency lighting and a diagram of force and means arrangement for fire fighting on floors and buildings suitable to the scale and nature of each unit, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law. In offices and warehouses, machinery and equipment are arranged neatly and scientifically . The electrical system is designed to ensure absolute safety.

Recognizing the important position and role in fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work, in addition to production and business tasks, PC Quang Tri always pays attention to leading and directing units to strictly implement regulations on fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue to ensure that machinery, equipment and means of production are operated safely in harsh weather conditions typical of the locality.

Proactively make detailed plans from the inspection, monitoring and implementation stages to correcting post-inspection problems. Monitor the correction of problems in actual inspection and other problems in document inspection, problems related to design review, acceptance of stages until completion.

Thereby, the number of fires caused by electricity usage has been minimized. Many fires have been detected and handled promptly, minimizing property damage and causing no human casualties.
