Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Colonel Ha Dinh Diep, Party Secretary, Deputy Director of the Department of Armaments emphasized: "Organizing the contest for political instructors aims to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, commanders at all levels and staff in leading and directing political education work, while correctly assessing the qualifications, capacity, skills, motivating, encouraging and training the team of political instructors in the Department, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of political education work, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

To ensure the quality and effectiveness of the contest, Colonel Ha Dinh Diep requested that the contestants uphold their sense of responsibility and prepare the content well. The contestants should learn from the experiences of the previous contestants and choose appropriate skills and methods for each part of the contest. The Organizing Committee and the Jury need to adhere to the rules and regulations, work impartially and objectively, and evaluate the actual results of each contestant in each part of the contest. The contestants should concentrate and listen carefully to absorb the knowledge content, considering this an opportunity to learn and improve their awareness.

The 2025 Political Teaching Cadre Competition includes the following contents: Lecture outline preparation competition, lecture practice competition and knowledge competition. Candidates prepare lecture outlines and get them approved. During the practical competition, candidates choose the main and key content to teach for 20 to 25 minutes. Candidates flexibly apply methods and means of political teaching, skillfully use PowerPoint presentations to introduce illustrations and clarify the content. After the practice, the jury will present a number of pedagogical situations for candidates to handle and additional questions to clarify the content of the lecture.

After the opening ceremony, the contestants entered the practical exam. The contest took place in a serious and objective atmosphere under the strict supervision of the jury. The contestants had good teaching methods, style, and skills in communicating to learners in an attractive, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember manner, combining theory and practice well, with vivid examples and evidence, and close connection and application to the situation, characteristics, and tasks of the agency or unit.
