The Contest attracted many works from agencies, units and a large number of cadres and party members to participate.

The quality of the exams was good, exploiting many new issues, with the guidance of experienced experts; the help of specialized agencies such as: Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , Academy of Politics, People's Army Newspaper, Military Radio and Television Center, Political Officer School... diversified the genre and number of exams at the Command and the entire army level.

The Command's Organizing Committee received 39 entries; organized the judging and selected 16 entries to participate in the army-wide competition. On October 13, 2025, the Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army issued a decision to commend the Competition. Of which, Command 86 had 1 entry that won the A prize at the army-wide level (the entry "Is it too hasty, subjective, and voluntaristic for Vietnam to enter a new era") and 6 entries that won the C prize. The Political Department, Command 86 was awarded a certificate of merit by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Minh Thang emphasized: The authors and groups of authors have demonstrated depth of awareness, understanding of political theory as well as the ability to creatively apply theory to practice; boldly refuted hostile and erroneous arguments; affirmed the correct line and leadership role of the Party in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation; at the same time demonstrated will, determination and consensus in the cause of national construction. Command 86 is also one of the five focal points of agencies and units with the highest achievements in the entire army.
