TAX DEPARTMENT AND MISA SIGNED A COOPERATION MOU AND ANNOUNCED A TAX INFORMATION PORTAL TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES

On the morning of August 18, at the Tax Department's headquarters, the announcement ceremony of the Tax Information Portal to support entrepreneurs and the signing of a cooperation agreement in the field of training, consulting, and digital transformation in the tax field with MISA Joint Stock Company (MISA) took place. The announcement ceremony of the Information Portal and the signing of a cooperation agreement with MISA are important steps in the goal of continuing to accelerate the process of modernizing tax management, helping taxpayers access tax policies more easily, quickly and conveniently.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the Tax Department were Director Mai Xuan Thanh; Deputy Director Mai Son, Deputy Director Vu Manh Cuong; representatives of leaders of Departments and units under the Tax Department. On behalf of MISA Joint Stock Company were Mr. Lu Thanh Long - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Hong Quang - General Director and a number of representatives of units under MISA. Also attending were representatives of the Vietnam Tax Consulting Association and tax solution consulting associations.

Supporting entrepreneurs is a consistent goal

The Tax Portal to Support Entrepreneurs is an online platform built to provide information, training materials, instructions as well as comprehensive support on tax policies for individuals, business households and enterprises nationwide. This is an important step in the process of accelerating the administrative reform and digital transformation strategy that the Tax sector has been vigorously implementing in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private economic development of the Central Government and the Politburo .

Ms. Nguyen Thu Tra - Head of Taxpayer Support and Compliance Management Department - Tax Department reported a summary of the cooperation memorandum between the Tax Department and MISA.

Up to now, with the cooperation of MISA, the Tax Department continues to research and develop a new application, which is: Tax information portal to support entrepreneurs. The tax information portal is built towards 3 core values.

Support individuals, business households and enterprises to pay the correct and full amount of tax payable, while standardizing processes and data.
Help the community understand technology and choose the right tools in financial management, e-invoice compliance and effective tax management
Enhancing business capacity to increase revenue and profit, thereby contributing more to the national budget - a new approach where the Tax authority not only supports compliance but also accompanies the development of businesses.

During operation, the Portal will continuously update the latest news and tax policies, and provide specific step-by-step instructions on business registration, declaration, tax payment and accounting book management. Special sections for business households and the process of converting to enterprises are designed in detail, helping users to follow the correct procedures, conveniently and in compliance with the law. Users can also easily declare taxes with the correct declaration forms and detailed instructions. In addition, a diverse business knowledge base with topics on finance - accounting - marketing - sales - human resource management and operations will provide maximum support for business people to improve their management capacity and sustainable development.

In particular, the Portal is integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) into a business consulting Chatbot to help individuals, business households and enterprises easily access useful knowledge in management, operation and business development, while supporting to improve sales efficiency. This is a new technology highlight, contributing to increasing the practical value and applicability of the Portal.

Within the framework of the Announcement Ceremony of the Tax Information Portal to support entrepreneurs, an important event took place. That was the Signing Ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum between the Tax Department and MISA Joint Stock Company in the coordination of implementing support on information related to the tax field for the business community (including organizations, individuals, business households, and the business community).

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the leaders of the two units, Director of the Tax Department Mai Xuan Thanh and Chairman of the Board of Directors of MISA Lu Thanh Long, with the contents of the commitment to coordinate in developing and operating the Tax Information Portal to support entrepreneurs, in which the Tax Department takes on the role of chairing and guiding all activities of the Portal.

For MISA, the unit will be responsible for technical consulting, infrastructure design, applications, building digital science warehouses, compiling training materials and instructional videos. In addition, MISA will deploy support for updating, maintaining and integrating in-depth content on governance, technology application and sustainable development. At the same time, coordinate with the Tax Department to research and develop applications and update the tax policy database to guide enterprises to develop and improve their production and business management capacity.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation, Director of the Tax Department Mai Xuan Thanh expressed his sincere thanks for the cooperation of MISA. According to the Director, the proactive coordination between the two sides is an important milestone and a premise for the Tax Department to continue to strengthen coordination in implementing the strategy of developing an application ecosystem on tax management and supporting taxpayers.
