Consolidating and promoting the strength of the great solidarity bloc, enhancing Vietnam's position in the international arena

According to the report, regarding the work of building the Party and political system, and building the socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam, the President has well performed the tasks and duties assigned by the Politburo and the Standing Secretariat with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring quality and efficiency according to the set requirements.

The President and the Politburo have directed the development and approval of many large and important projects such as: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development... In particular, the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and the construction of a 2-level local government organization model have achieved important results, of historical significance, creating a strong driving force for the country's development.

The President has performed his duties and powers in domestic affairs; in the appointment, dismissal, and removal of high-ranking State personnel; in the duties and powers related to the legislative field; in the duties and powers related to the executive field; in the duties and powers related to the judiciary field; in the field of national defense and security; in the work of building and consolidating the great national unity bloc...

The President has reviewed and decided to revoke, grant and restore Vietnamese nationality to 18,022 cases, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, thereby affirming the Party and State's attention to the Vietnamese community abroad, so that Vietnamese nationality becomes a link, connecting Vietnamese people living far from the Fatherland with their homeland and roots, contributing to promoting the strength of national solidarity, attracting high-quality human resources to serve the country's development process.

According to the report, within the scope of duties and powers prescribed by the Constitution and laws, with the responsibility assigned by the Party, the National Assembly and the people, the President is responsible for the limitations and shortcomings of the country during his term. The activities of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform were sometimes interrupted, irregular and not continuous. The reason is that during his term, there were many changes in the personnel of the President, so there was a time when the personnel of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform was not completed in time.

Regarding the key directions and tasks in the coming time, the President will work with comrades in the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat to lead and direct the focus on drafting documents for the 14th National Party Congress to ensure they are concise, easy to understand, easy to deploy, easy to implement, deeply and comprehensively demonstrate the Party's innovative and breakthrough thinking, and serve as a solid foundation to guide the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new period.

Along with that, the President will promote foreign affairs activities and international integration in a deep and comprehensive manner, considering this an important and regular task; consolidate and enhance Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena; raise the level and promote the role of party diplomacy, state diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy in the new situation; effectively implement the motto "combining national strength with the strength of the times", making an important contribution and creating a driving force for the country's breakthrough development.

The President also proposed strengthening national defense and security potential, promoting the activities of the National Defense and Security Council; continuing to build a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern people's army and police force; paying attention to consolidating and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, and strengthening the people's trust in the leadership of the Party and State.
