Da Nang spends more than 1,570 billion VND to build an intersection

TPO - On June 24, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that it had approved the investment policy for the Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long - Hoa Xuan bridge intersection project.

The project will retain the current Hoa Xuan bridge and build and expand a new bridge downstream of the old bridge.

The intersection cluster on Hoa Cuong ward will have a tunnel on Cach Mang Thang Tam street, a tunnel on Thang Long street and a service road on both sides of the tunnel. At the same time, Le Thanh Nghi street will be expanded, Do Xu bridge will be expanded towards Khue Trung lake, and a right turn will be arranged from Le Thanh Nghi street to Cach Mang Thang Tam street on the bank of Khue Trung lake.

The total investment of the project is more than 1,570 billion VND, of which compensation and site clearance costs are nearly 130 billion VND, construction costs are nearly 1,200 billion VND from the city budget. Implementation period is from 2025 to 2029.

The Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long - Hoa Xuan bridge access intersection is one of the areas where traffic jams often occur, especially during rush hour.

Authorities must close the mobile fence at the approach road to Hoa Xuan - Thang Long bridge from 6:30 to 8:30 and from 16:30 to 18:00 every day. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will be closed from 6:30 to 10:00 and in the afternoon from 16:30 to 18:30.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, this project will complete the traffic infrastructure network, synchronously connect in the area; resolve traffic congestion, improve traffic capacity and safety when traveling through the intersection.
