Da Nang proactively responds to storm Bualoi

ĐNO - On the afternoon of September 25, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the tropical depression weakened from storm No. 9 has weakened into a low pressure area over Quang Ninh province. Meanwhile, around the night of September 26, storm Bualoi will move into the eastern sea area of ​​the central East Sea, becoming storm No. 10 in 2025.

At 1:00 p.m. on September 28, the center of storm Bualoi (storm No. 10) was at about 16.4 degrees north latitude, 111 degrees east longitude, in the sea west of Hoang Sa special zone with the strongest wind intensity at level 12-13, gusting to level 16.

The storm continues to move rapidly in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 25km/h and is likely to strengthen.

Due to the storm's influence, from the evening of September 26, the sea area east of the northern and central East Sea will have winds of level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9; the area near the storm's center will have strong winds of level 10-12, gusting to level 15, waves 5-7m high, and rough seas. Ships operating in the danger zone may be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.

On land from Ha Tinh to Da Nang , there is a possibility of heavy rain from September 27 to 28; on September 29, the rain will gradually decrease.

The Northern region and Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces will have moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain on the night of September 26; on September 27 there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain; from the night of September 28 to September 30 there is a possibility of heavy rain.

The Da Nang City Civil Defense Command has issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, localities and units to proactively respond to storm Bualoi and natural disasters during the 2025 rainy and storm season.
