Da Nang established the Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design

On December 30, the People's Committee of Da Nang city issued Decision 2941/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Da Nang Center for Research, Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence.

The Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence of Da Nang (Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and AI) is under the Department of Information and Communications; on the basis of transferring, receiving and reorganizing the Center for Development of High-Quality Human Resources of Da Nang City under the Department of Home Affairs, established by Decision No. 3652/QD-UBND dated May 18, 2009 of the City People's Committee.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Le Trung Chinh said that the Center for Research and Training on Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence is a public service unit with legal status, using a seal and opening an account for transactions according to regulations.

This center has the function of carrying out research and design training activities in the field of microchips, semiconductors and artificial intelligence development; technology transfer, international cooperation; mobilizing resources, linking and cooperating with domestic and foreign partners to promote research, training, microchip and semiconductor design and artificial intelligence development activities in the city according to the provisions of law.

The Director of the Department of Home Affairs shall preside over receiving tasks, personnel, records, and documents corresponding to the tasks of managing, monitoring, and resolving issues related to the management of policies for developing high-quality human resources in the public sector of Da Nang city (including policies for attracting; training, fostering, and managing students participating in the Policy for developing high-quality human resources in the public sector) to continue implementing at the Department of Home Affairs; guiding the Center for Developing High-Quality Human Resources to carry out procedures for handing over documents and archives related to revenue-generating activities, administrative work, finance, assets, and documents related to the Center's activities to relevant agencies and units according to regulations...
