However, for the city's retail industry to develop sustainably in the context of deep international economic integration and increasing competitive pressure, it requires the cooperation of many entities: management agencies, industry associations, enterprises, cooperatives, business households and small traders.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Department of Industry and Trade to proactively develop and implement programs and projects to support businesses, cooperatives, business households, and small traders in applying e-commerce.
Relevant departments, agencies and sectors coordinate closely and synchronously to ensure a safe and transparent online trading environment; improve the efficiency of tax management, statistics and market data; and strengthen the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
In particular, businesses, cooperatives, production facilities, and small traders in markets, supermarkets, shopping malls, convenience stores, etc. need to boldly change their business mindset, convert their sales methods from traditional to combined with e-commerce, and take advantage of online platforms, social networks, and digital platforms to expand their consumption channels.
At the workshop, experts shared information on development orientation, e-commerce platform models, direct - online sales models, and experience in applying sales models in retail businesses.
In particular, small traders were shared basic solutions in applying e-commerce to the retail industry such as: focusing on investing in digital infrastructure and modern payment systems; synchronizing data between sales channels; enhancing human resource training in both online sales skills and payment method consulting skills; promoting links between retail businesses to share delivery infrastructure and payment systems.
