“The storm may change its direction, but Da Nang will still experience strong winds at sea and along the coast, and heavy rain. Therefore, units and localities should not be subjective about the storm.

All sectors, units and localities must respond according to the approved disaster prevention and control plan and grasp and closely follow their functions and tasks to deploy and implement specifically and resolutely. At the same time, inform people about the disaster situation to proactively prevent and respond," Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung emphasized.

For ships still operating at sea, the City Border Guard Command coordinates with units and localities to contact, notify, guide, and call on ships to come ashore or escape from dangerous areas, find safe shelter, not let any ships be within the storm's influence, and not anchor in unsafe locations...

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung assigned the City Border Guard Command to coordinate with the Central Hydrometeorological Station to proactively consider stopping appropriate activities at sea based on weather developments, especially for the Cua Dai - Cu Lao Cham waterway passenger transport route to ensure safety for people and vehicles.

Communes, wards, press and radio agencies widely, regularly and continuously inform about the situation and developments of the storm so that people know and proactively respond.

People, heads of agencies, units and schools urgently brace houses, offices and classrooms to avoid damage.

Project management boards, investors, construction owners, and projects under construction are responsible for implementing solutions to ensure safety for the construction, to prevent collapse, landslides, damage, and to avoid affecting people, houses, and neighboring constructions...

People's Committees of wards and communes should pay special attention to areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, inundation, etc. Low-lying roads are often flooded and floodwaters must be guarded to ensure safety.

"Departments, branches, sectors, units and localities must grasp the approved disaster prevention and control plans and, based on the situation and developments of natural disasters in the area, direct and deploy practical disaster response to minimize damage," Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung requested.
