Da Nang builds Dragon Park in Son Tra district

On February 20, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City announced that the leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang City agreed and assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with MoNo BoGo Vietnam Limited Liability Company (the socialized investor), Minh Tuan Tu Consulting and Construction Company Limited (the project contractor) to come up with a plan to concentrate all the dragon mascots for Tet decoration and some flower decoration miniatures on the land lot northwest of the intersection of Vo Van Kiet Street and Vo Nguyen Giap Street.

The entire plot of land used to build Dragon Park is approximately 2.8 hectares. This plot of land is being planned to be used to build a financial center. Dragon Park is located here while the project has not yet been implemented according to the plan.

At the same time, coordinate with relevant units and socialized enterprises that wish to accompany the city to invest in decorating Dragon Park and organize the operation and maintenance of construction items at the park throughout 2024.

Da Nang City assigned the Construction Technical Consulting Center to carry out a preliminary design plan for the construction of Dragon Park on the above land, ensuring requirements for landscape architecture, creating a new tourist check-in spot.

Accompanied by essential public utility services (restrooms, food kiosks, photography and printing service kiosks, outdoor art performance stage, operator house, permanent security guard house,...) to serve residents and tourists who come to visit and enjoy.

As for the Ly Dynasty Dragon statue made of Bat Trang ceramics in the area above the T-shaped bridge (opposite 42 Bach Dang), the city leaders agreed to continue maintaining it until the end of 2024, until a solemn and suitable location is chosen for permanent display.
