The body of the motorboat driver who crashed into a buoy and fell into the river has been found.

Authorities have performed an autopsy on the victim found on a canal section passing through Tan Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province, and handed the body over to the family for funeral arrangements.

The boat with a broken bow was pulled to shore.

On October 14, rescuers found the body of the victim in the boat crash into a buoy on Duong Van Duong canal, passing through Tan Thanh commune.

Authorities completed the autopsy, prepared a file, and handed over the body to the family for burial.

Previously, according to the report, Mr. NPX (39 years old), residing in Dong Thap province, and his brother-in-law drove two motorboats to set nets to catch fish on Duong Van Duong canal.

While fishing, when moving to the canal near Tan Thanh bridge in Tan Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province, the motorboat controlled by Mr. X. suddenly crashed into a buoy on the river.

The strong collision broke the bow of the motorboat, Mr. X fell into the water and went missing.

The brother-in-law who was with him immediately turned the boat around to search, and at the same time called on people in the surrounding area to help with the rescue.

However, due to the strong river currents and the dark night time of the incident, the initial search was fruitless.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities and local people quickly arrived at the scene, organized a search and cordoned off the river area where the incident occurred. The rescue team used motorboats, nets and lights to search along both sides of the river, and at the same time notified households living along the river to assist in observing and providing information if any unusual signs were detected.

At around 3am on October 14, authorities found Mr. X's body about 2km from the collision site./.
