Upon receiving information about storm No. 10, Ly Son Border Guard Station deployed forces and means to announce the storm and prohibit boats from going out to sea. Coordinated with local authorities to count and support fishermen to bring their boats to the mooring dock before storm No. 10 makes landfall.
In the Ly Son special economic zone, there are about 430 vessels operating at sea and 57 seafood cages. The Ly Son Border Guard Station has called 403 vessels to anchor, including 373 fishing boats, with 1,745 workers.
Some seafood farmers have also moved their cages to safe areas. The unit continues to inform ships operating at sea to quickly return to shore or move out of the area affected by storm No. 10.
Ly Son Border Guard Station is maintaining regular communication with ship owners operating at sea, mobilizing more than 50 officers and soldiers, 02 ships, canoes, 16 military vehicles and personal motorbikes on standby, ready to prevent, combat and overcome the consequences when storm No. 10 develops complicatedly.
